New world gypsy

and the associated performance troupe, tribe Jyannissimi, have performed on stages and interacting with patrons at renaissance faires and fairie festivals in PA, MD and VA.  Private parties and corporate functions have also been performance opportunities.

New World Gypsy incorporates the moves and techniques from several dance styles including tribal bellydance, turkish-rom, and cross-cultural folkdance and skirt dance.  Fused but not confused.

Traditional bellydance props such as cane, veil and swords/scimitars are used to enhance the form. Additional advanced props include veilfans, candle tray, firesword/firefans and snakes.
